The customer already had a Claim Audit Management System used to manage claims, supporting documents, audit activities, approvals, and audit history. The requirement was to enhance the existing platform with blockchain technology to provide an additional layer of trust, document verification, and tamper-evident audit tracking. The existing application and database continued to manage the business data, while blockchain was introduced specifically for recording and verifying important claim audit activities.
Some of the key blockchain challenges were:
